My new blog!

A&W Copper DoorWelcome to my blog!

I have been sitting on this for a long time now and felt I had nothing to say. After all that has happened this week, I realize that I have a lot to say – to add to the light in this world. We need more light and love.

Theatre is my vocation. Food is my avocation. I am so passionate about both and will strive to inform, illuminate and just have fun sharing my opinions about both of them here.

I have such love and gratitude to Wayne and Ann for steering me this way. They are family! Their support and love means the world to me and  I will forever be indebted to them.

Hope you have as much fun here as I will have sharing!

  1. Paul, You trusted me when so many others would have snubbed their noses at a 16 year old trying out for Steel Magnolias. You gave me my love for theatre and David Sanders continued what you started. When the Dixie did Steel Magnolias for the second time, I found myself sitting in the audience saying “No, the chair does not go there. No, she should be coming from stage left.” Funny how I can remember those things but not why I went into the kitchen. Thank you for allowing me to be able to pass this love on to my children. Maybe someday soon I can come to Atlanta and experience you on stage. Sending love from Lewisburg!

Paul. You have always had alot to say. You are a compassionate, kind and loving person, and I’m sure people will delight in your musings about food and the theater. Press onward!
